At Aquila PRE, we believe in breeding beautiful true to type Pure Spanish horses (PREs) with fantastic temperaments and exceptional talent for dressage. We have covered our beautiful Australian bred PRE mares with our stallion, Poseido LXXII Imp., and are extremely pleased with the results. We are negotiating to import frozen semen from some of Spain's top (and top performing) PRE horses to cover some of Poseido's progeny from next season, thus further increasing the bloodlines available in Australia.

We are breed one or two quality Warmbloods per year. From 2010, we will be standing the Warmblood stallion The Valedictorian on behalf of the Bywater Stud. The Valedictorian was the top scoring stallion at the 2010 Trakehner Verband inspection, and has produced some lovely horses. AQ Lucy, one of The Valedictorian's progeny, will be prepared for the young horse dressage classes in late 2010.

In the 2010-2011 breeding season, we are also planning to combine the best of both worlds, covering our lovely warmblood mares with our PRE stallion. We are very excited about the potential offspring.
