Carlota (Lottie) has very good conformation and movement and is a top producer of quality foals. Aquila Merlin is Lottie's first foal for us. She is in foal to Poseido for a January foal.

Lottie is an easy keeper - she seems to be able to suck nutrition out of the air like a whale filtering plankton through it's whiskers. Alpha mare in her little herd, she keeps a close eye on things with a minimum of fuss. She has also taught all the other horses the value of sharing - each meal is to be shared, and there is to be no nastiness about it at all. She likes the company of people, and is quite adept at hunting out carrots.
